14-TAB WORKBOOK + 7 GUIDES | EXCEL + GOOGLE SHEETS | INSTANT DOWNLOAD
Roka to Reception is a 14-tab workbook built for Indian weddings from the first cell - both-families cost split, per-function guest counts, a shagun ledger and baraat-to-vidaai vendor categories - plus seven guides carrying the knowledge families usually earn the expensive way.
Three notebooks, nine WhatsApp groups, and an uncle who remembers the caterer's quote differently than you do.
One file where every list feeds every other list - and both families can open the same live copy.

What arrives
Not a Western single-day planner with a few rows bolted on. Every number below is what is actually in the file when you open it.
These figures describe the contents of the kit, counted in the shipped files. The workbook itself arrives blank - your wedding, your numbers.
What's inside
Change a guest's RSVP and the headcount, the caterer's per-plate estimate and that function's budget all move with it. That is the whole idea.
Live countdown, money position, RSVP funnel, overdue-payment alerts and a per-function summary. Your whole wedding on one screen.
Name YOUR functions - Roka or Nischayathartham, Sangeet or Sanchaq. Headers, dropdowns and every pre-loaded row follow the names you type. Switch a function off and its numbers blank out across the workbook.
Pre-loaded Indian line items with estimated vs final vs advance, automatic balance due, and both-families paying-side tracking. Overspend turns red.
One list, every function. Tick Y per function and invited and confirmed headcounts compute live - with RSVP, diet, stay, rooms and travel per guest.
Compare quotes side by side, rate candidates, mark the winner BOOKED - then track every advance and balance with due dates that flag OVERDUE before it becomes an awkward phone call.
A timeline that dates itself from your wedding date, phase by phase from twelve months out to after the wedding - plus one block per function with venue, timings, dress code and run-of-show.
Every look per person per function, the jewellery register, the shagun ledger both families will consult for years, veg/Jain/non-veg splits pulled from your guest list, and hotel blocks with live family counts.
Quick Start with a worked Rs 25-lakh example, the printable 12-month checklist, the budget guide, 100 vendor questions, WhatsApp message templates in English and Hinglish, and the wedding-week command sheet.
Real screens from the workbook
Actual tabs from the delivered file, shown with the worked example wedding from the Quick Start Guide. Tap the gallery above to view any screen full-size.
How it works
Nothing to install, no account to create, no template to rebuild. The Start Here tab walks you through the whole setup.
Open Setup and type your own function names, dates and total budget. Ten minutes, following the Start Here tab.
Rename Sangeet to Sanchaq and every header, dropdown and pre-seeded row follows it. Switch a function off and it blanks out everywhere.
Import once into Google Sheets and both families work on the same file - or keep it in Excel and send the sheet you want them to see.
From the roka laddoo to the vidaai - one file, the whole way.
Who it's for
If your wedding has more than one function, this was built for you.
Planning your own wedding around two full-time jobs, and tired of asking each other what was decided.
You did not volunteer for this. You are now holding every vendor quote and every guest count.
Two households, two cities, one budget - and a clear record of which side agreed to what.
Coordinating a wedding in India from abroad, across time zones, on one shared live file.
Zero-risk purchase
Instant delivery, everything included, and a refund policy with no fine print.
Buy the kit, set up your functions and use it on your real wedding. If it did not help, email support@srpublishers.in from your checkout email with your order number within 30 days - a real person answers, and we refund in full.
Before you buy
Yes. Every function name is yours to type in the Setup tab - Nischayathartham, Gaye Holud, Sakharpuda, whatever your family calls it. Rename a function and the headers, dropdowns and pre-loaded rows follow it. If your wedding has fewer functions, switch the extra ones off and their numbers blank out everywhere.
Excel 2016 or newer (including Excel 365) opens it directly. If you do not have Excel, import the file once into Google Sheets (File → Import → Replace spreadsheet) and work there for free. LibreOffice opens it too, with minor cosmetic differences possible.
Yes - import it into Google Sheets once and share that one live copy. The workbook deliberately uses only the compact formula set that survives the conversion: no XLOOKUP, no macros, no exotic formatting. It is also why the Budget tab tracks a paying side on every line.
Blank - it is your wedding and your numbers. The fully worked example (a six-function, Rs 25-lakh wedding) lives in the Quick Start Guide, so you can see every tab in use before you type anything.
One ZIP of about 11 MB: the 14-tab workbook plus seven PDF guides (59 pages). The download link appears on the order confirmation page and is emailed to you once payment clears. Nothing ships.
Yes, for your own wedding. The Master Timeline Checklist and the Wedding Week Command Sheet are designed to be printed and handed to your point-people. Please do not redistribute or resell the files.
No, and deliberately so. This is a planning and organisation kit. Auspicious dates, rituals and ceremony order belong with your family and your pandit - the workbook simply holds whatever dates you decide.
